Looking Forward to What Lies Ahead

We have a lot to celebrate as an organization that has started and helped over 37 churches over the last 60 years. One of the many things I love about being a part of our CEM family is our focus on the future. We share the same attitude as Paul seen in his encouraging words to the Philippians "Looking forward to what lies ahead".

As you know CEM is all about starting new church planting churches by recruiting and developing church planters, supporters and leaders. We are focused on reaching the 3 million people in our state through starting new churches so they can hear the good news of Jesus. Winter: New resident starts residency for Oelwein - January, Preaching & Teaching Convention Joplin MO - February 19th - 21st. Real Men Conference Des Moines IA - February 23rd-24th.

Spring: NPEA Leadership Retreat Spearfish SD - March 2nd - 3rd, Rural Church Conference Carroll IA - March 17th.

Summer: CEM Team RAGBRAI - July 21st - 28th, CEM Golf Tournament Ankeny IA - August 25th.

Fall: CEM Annual Meeting - September 11th, Rallypoint Church starts Sioux City IA - September.

My on going schedule includes coaching our church planters and some pastors of our existing supporting churches. I also provide leadership training for our churches.
